A nice yesterday yesterday with the top 2 plays coming home in TT and Mizzou. Still doing homework on the rest of the card but one to get the show started - and I am guessing a few naysayers wont like it but so be it....
In the inaugural "Give Me My Damn Buyout Bowl":
Nebraska Cornhuskers (2.5)
I am assuming Forrest Gump.....I mean Les Miles.....pulled his annual bonehead pulling defeat from the jaws of victory?
Better hope for more upsets because the teams that are going to chime in tomorrow at 1,2 and 3 just arent that good.
Coming off of the huge GOY winner on Kansas Jayhawks and a nice follow up on Mizzou, though OU didnt quite get there. A very nice day. For this week a couple more:
Texas Tech Red Raiders (3)
Mizzou Tigers (2)
Easily the most important slate of games of the season. And one greatly looked forward to by yours truly.
Of course the highlight of the weekend is going to Dallas and drinking massive amounts of beer and washing down fried food. This year's fair winner is Fried Cookie Dough ....has to beat...
Heard this today but havent researched to confirm, but was told that each year under Houston Nutt the week after Arkansas has lost its first SEC game it has lost again the next week.
A very nice day yesterday. This week I have my two biggest plays of the year so far...a decent chance I wont have a bigger play this year.
Buffalo (3.5)
Miami Hurricanes (3)
Unfortunately Oklahoma is looking damn good. May well all be playing for 2nd place.
A sluggish staret for yours truly but a nice week for a turnaround:
Iowa State Cyclones (2)
Utah State Aggies
Central Florida (1.5)
Colorado Buffaloes
UL Monroe
USC Trojans (2.5)
Well it started nicely with 2 winners then went down in flames after that. Back to the drawing board:
Miami, Florida (2)
Fresno State
Will be more later most likely.
SEC 3
Pac 10 3
Big 12 2
Big East 2
ACC 1
Big 10 1
Other 4
Looking back not really all that surprising it ended up this way. So who ends up in Atlanta?
My off hand guesses: Florida, Pitt, GTown, Tennessee
