    Looked it up. Was $1.85 / gal when Obama was inaugurated. http://news.consumerreports.org/cars/2009/01/gas-prices-2.html I haven't done the math on # of gallons used per day, etc but that is a huge amount of money that consumers are now paying for gas instead of other stuff.
