    I know absolutely nothing about horse racing, but I have a buddy who is going to the Derby, and I would like to place a few small wagers. Which horse is a good one (at decent odds) to throw a few bucks on? And what might be a winning trifecta? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do I hedge?

    I need SF to hit a 3 team parlay. I hit the first two legs with Det and Ana. 1 unit to win 9.3. Should I hedge and bet something like 3 units on SD -140? If SD wins: 2 units. If SF wins: 5.1 units. Or should I say screw it and go for 9.3 or bust?:D

    Orlando

    Given that they've lost something like 17 in a row now, does anyone think there is value on betting on them? I would be inclined to believe that the public would be on the other team in most instances. Just wondering what everyone thinks on the subject.

    Salami Question

    Looking at the lines on the over/under, it appears that more people are on the under (5 and 5.5) for the two games tonight. Why would the under on the Salami be Even money then? Should I be looking at something like this and say that the under might be a good bet tonight?

    Tonights game

    I'm parlaying Ov 7.5 with the Fish. Beckett's been hot lately and the Fish will want to make up for the poor offensive showing in game 3. Plus neither team has to believe that any lead is big enough, so I can see them still trying to manufacture runs in the later innings.

    Unc/ecu

    I know both teams are 0-5, but why is UNC only favored by 9. Both defenses are not good, but at least UNC has shown an ability to score points. Could someone tell me why UNC isn't the way to go on this game? :shrug:
