    The song "American Pie" .....

    This song came on while drinking a few brews with some friends...one of them commented that the lyrics reflect a piece of history....such as the part where the guy is in a leg cast was supposely Joe Namath...anybody heard of this and what about the rest of the song?? "Jack be nimble"...etc
