Gamboa-800; +550 back. I am not playing this. I went there strickly looking for a scalp. No dice.

    Vic Darc-185/Clottey-220. Short & sweet.

    Boxing; 7/12/2008; Klitschko-Thompson

Well, I realize Klits has seen the better opposition, but after his last fight with "Barney Rubble", aka, Ibragimov, I am taking a shot with Thompson. Klits just looked like a deer caught in headlights when he fought the munchkin Ibrag. Fought like he was SOOOO afraid. At least that's how it...

    Boxing; 7/05/2008; Torres-Holt; Las Vegas

Well, what's the story gents? No interest? Stock market and $4.50 gas got you guys down! I did'nt see the last fight. I will look around for it. Any strong opinions here? Why is Holt a 3 buck chalk? Later.

    Boxing; 6-28-2008; Pacquiao-Diaz

Pacquiao has fought the better level of competiton. He is actually 1/2" taller than Diaz. He is much faster, and speed kills, as has been said. Diaz will just get hit too much here. He may look good out of the gate, but will most likely fade as it grinds along. Either I find a strong parlay...

    Boxing; 8/02/2008; Judah-Clottey; what's my line?

Anyone have a prognostication here? Judah has been in with EVERYBODY, but, he is unpredictable. Clottey is not the greatest technician we have ever seen, but he is durable, if nothing else. I see Judah as a slight favorite here, with a round prop like over 10.5 or so. I think Romi feels Clottey...

    Boxing; 6/20-6/21-McCollough-Ruiz/ Marquez-Lorenzo

Seems one of my cohorts likes both dogs here(Ruiz/Marquez). Says Marquez would'nt take this unless he felt very confident, and I think old Mc C is shot, so I agree with him for the most part.

    Boxing; 6/21/2008; Abraham-Miranda

I played Miranda at SB +205 a month ago. At that time my thinking was that Miranda had A) most likely improved his technique since the first fight B) probably would not get 5 points deducted in this fight and C) is hell -bent on getting the W. Abraham is one of the best, so he has his work cut...

    Romi-Gamboa fighting in Primm again

I hope he holds his freakin hands up this time. I don't know about the rest of the card, but I will surely take a ride down there to check the line(s) closer to fight time. Man was I way off Wednesday nite. Hurricane eddie was right on target with his analysis.

    Boxing; 6/11/2008; Powell-Latimore

Did'nt bet the UNDER+135 when I first saw it. Now it's UNDER 9.5-175!!. Latimore is a creampuff. I missed the boat here. Maybe 5D's will post some props. At any rate, Latimore should get deconstructed. Think I'll parlay Valero-Powell UNDER both.

    Boxing; 6/11/2008; Valero-Shimada; prop

Play: UNDER 5.5-120. Even if it's in sushi land, Shimada is garbage.

Boxing futures; what I see as two nice moneymakers....

In the nearer future, we have Clottey-Judah. Zab Judah keeps acting like an idiot. He just can't/won't learn. Clottey is super hungary and a no nonsense fighter. HE WILL WIN HERE. I anticipate making a decent size bet on Clottey. Months down the road is Pavlik-Calzaghe. Joe Calzaghe is in for...

    Boxing; 6/07/2008; Pavlik-Lockett; Atlantic City-HBO

Well, I ran with the 6.5 UNDER-135. I know, I know! 6.5 ain't a heck of a lot of rounds. Especially if Pavlik, who I feel will win, takes it slow and careful. The thing of it is, this Lockett fella has fought scrubs. What is he going to due when he gets in VERY tough? This is VERY tough. I think...

    Boxing; 5/23/2008; FNF-ESPN; Williams-Herrera

Well, Williams has been at cruiser for a long time. Herrera as recently as Jan of 08' was at lt. heavy. Now he puts on 24 pounds to fight a REAL cruiserweight. Based on that I'd say Herrera is "cruising" for a brusing. I'm parlaying the UNDER 6.5-255 here with Hatton-INSIDE-150.

Boxing; near future dog plays I like

I think Miranda(+200) has a good shot at upsetting Abraham on June 21. I have to give Abraham big-time kudos for fighting Miranda with a broken jaw last time they met. I feel Miranda now KNOWS what he has to do, and will fight smarter. It's a good value play. Also as I stated in another thread...

    Boxing; 5/24/2008; Hatton-Lazcano; Manchester, UK

Major question here is HOW will Hatton win. Considering Lazcano hasn't fought in 15 months, I'd say him lasting the full 12 does not bode well for him. Hatton gets thumped by Mayweather and now fights at home versus a semi-retired boxer. Gee, I wonder if Hatton will want to impress his adoring...

    Boxing; 5/09/2008; Truscott-Akaba

Goin with the homer here(Truscott). Not only because of being the homeboy, but, he HAS been very active. Okaba hasn't fought in a year. Truscott fought as recently as this Feb. past. These are my thoughts on this one.

    Pens-Flyers

Penalty minute props; haven't seen them posted yet, but play the Flyers across the board here. They know the Pens are faster and more skilled. They will have to slow them down by mugging them, so I expect the Flyers to live up to their moniker "The Broad Street Bullies".

Boxing; 5/17/2008; Primm-Las Vegas; assitance from the group requested...

This is an off-strip venue. We may see lines off-shore, or not, I can't say. I visited the the sportsbook in the casino where the fights are being held. They WILL post numbers, soon. I will be in attendance. What I am asking is for anyone who has the time to check into these matchups as a favor...

    Boxing; 5/2/2008; Hanshaw-Dirrell-Showtime

Ok, what, no interest in this one? My first impulse was to go with Hanshaw. I have since relented. I need some feedback/input here. Any takers?
