Turkeys are brining (yep 2)
Veggies are cut up for stuffing and Broc cassarole.
Corn, potatoes, rolls, and cranberry sauce are ready.
Strawberry salad....(wifes job).
Note ....Put beer in fridge!!!

Wife always gets fresh so I looked it up and they said frozen is better than fresh.
The kicker is they say not to buy fresh until 1-2 days before cooking time. Fine line there.
I'm sure the markets don't get the birds in store the day before....:shrug:

That was the first car I ever bought. I bought it in '71. 383 4 speed and that car kicked some ass. Wish I still had it.
No recipe I just used 2 honey crisp apples some sugar, cinammon, about a Tbl spoon of flour and a pinch of salt.
Rolled out a basic pie dough, put apple mixture in the middle and dotted with butter. Fold up the sides of the dough and bake at 375 for about 40 mins.
This is one of the best recipes I've tried and if you like it cheesey you'll like this one.
8 oz. elbows cooked el dente.
Preheat oven to 350.
3 Tbl butter
1/4 cu. flour
1/2 teas salt
1/2 teas dry mustard
1/4 teas pepper
2 1/2 cu. milk (you can use 2%)
2 cu chedder gheese (I used xtra sharp)...
