it's even dumber when they go empty backfield. k st did it late in the game against texas, and the whole fucking world knew it was a qb draw. i never cease to be amazed by the stupidity. and it's disgusting, how much these coaches get paid.- Smitty

last year, i did a deep dive on tcu the week before they play texas. their record is awful, both 1st half and game. they happened to play tech last year in this same spot. tech covered the first half, but if i recall correctly, they got brutally screwed by the refs (on a punt return, i think)...- Smitty

when i saw alphonso marquez was working this series, i knew it was only a matter of time. didn't take long... i think it was the very first batter of game one when he blew the call at first base that had to be overturned by replay. he's no angel hernandez, but he's pretty fucking terrible... -
