    Big error by Valentine... but a really interesting decision by the Mets: Not pinch hitting for Mota with the bases loaded and 2 outs, up 4-1 :scared :scared I can understand that decision in maybe the 8th or 9th inning. But the 6th? :shrug: :shrug:

    The Pete Rose show was on the road in Vegas. Saw him signing autographs at some small Sports Memorabilia store in the Venitian Shops. They were hawking those "Sorry I bet" baseballs left and right. Pretty sad to see the Hit Leader acting more like an B-Level star at a Star Trek...
