    update: northwest airlines jihadi had explosives sewn into his clothes

    Despite this news I am starting to feel better about things. I talked to four different newspaper reporters today and I feel like I got things off of my chest. Not sure how or if this will affect me long term except to say that I will probably never fly to or from Amsterdam again.

    MJ- Got some great safari picks (several hundred). Including some video of the Mountain Gorilla's in the wild. Great stuff. Got within 3 feet of them when a little 350lb gorilla came right up to me and got interested in my camera.

    GW- We were in our descent. Right before everything happened the pilot announced that we would be landing in 10 minutes. I am not really sure why he didn't try and pull this off over the ocean at a higher altitude. It would have been much easier.
