    thats right for the back of the pc...the dvi on the pc is a little different then the dvi-d on the back of the monitor the dvi on the back of the pc is 3x8 squares with 4 little squares next to it instead of a slit like on the back of the monitor

    the female dvi is on the back of the monitor..the amazon product looks like it will fit directly in there, and the other side is where i plug the vga cable in to, and then connect it to the vga port on the pc? i don't see an HDMI port on the monitor nor the pc

    it looks similar(i can't tell if it's the same) , the monitor has the 8x3 holes with the slit next to the middle row, and under that is where it says DVI-D..and then the vga blue is similar to the pic I'm not sure what the DVI is on the back of the PC .. the back of the computer looks exactly...

    the monitor is a Dell S2230MX don't have my phone on me or I'd post a pic there are 3 rows of 8 with a slit next to the middle one...and then there is the standard vga port I've been trying to plug in to the picture on that link you gave to me looks like it would fit perfectly
