Ok looks like she cant collect SS. You have to have 40 credits to be eligible. For every $1100 you contribute to SS you earn one credit.- ageecee

Thanks Box but me and wife are trying to find out if my MIL is eligible to even receive benefits. I have my account online so I know what my benefits are. If you don't contribute to SS is there a way you can collect SS? Hell I don't know that's why im asking.- ageecee
