    more marquee matchups (and some real head scratching lines) usc (-3) (-101) over california west virginia (-7.5) (+105) over rutgers the west virginia line makes sense. the cal/usc line is ridiculous. no way it stays there.

    i just agreed with you. his teams win. but he also puts them in some horrible situations at times. undefeated teams have to expect more out of their qbs than 53% completions on the season and a 1:1 td/int ratio. his decision-making needs to catch up with his talent, thats all.

    i understand the game isn't all about stats, but teel just went 8/21, threw a pick, and also forced a couple of balls he should have thrown away (or at least checked down). his pedigree is there. he can make all the throws. but his decision making is still the offense's biggest weakness.

    i enjoy watching gjn/sun tzu go at it because they are often debates that are just heated enough that you wonder if theyre going to cross the line and start throwing down. but they also both do their homework and know what theyre talking about. a mutual respect where they agree to never agree.

    furthermore, lets assume rutgers does get by cincy. it wont be easy. but lets say they do. then the perfunctory effort at home against syracuse. when they go to morgantown, is it inconceivable that an undefeated team would be a 7-10 point underdog in the season finale? gotta think wvu is (-7)...

    cincy is seriously underrated. dantonio is an m'fer who doesnt care how ugly he wins as long as his teams run the ball effectively and play hard hitting defense. theyre in a spot to catch wvu napping this week but i think cincy matches up better with rutgers straight-ahead style rushing game...

    dont worry, akron scored TDs on their first 3 drives and now are in full high school mode with dive plays and runs up the middle on another channel. i wouldnt get too concerned with wyoming just yet. its amazing how some coaches just get up and then sit on the ball.
