    I highly doubt UCLA will shell out 2.5+ million for a top head coach. And no top notch coach would go there for a pay cut + ucla refuses to pay assistants top dollar. Why on earth would a good coach wanan go there if he can't get his assistants what they deserve??

    Can't put it all on ole ricky, but a lot of this ugliness is defintely on him. ucla can't really compete in the pac-12 anymore. public school, lack of facilities, can't pay coaches - specially assistants= a lot less talent on the field, and thats what wins football games.
