Here is what I do..I just tried it and it worked for me. Right click on what you want to remove Click on delete A message appears saying that the shortcut icon will be removed but not the program and if I want the program removed I have to goto Add/Remove Programs. I have Windows XP so I dont...- bubbas1

Right clicking on it took care of the problem. There was an option for turning it off . Thanks for the help. Now if I could only convince my wife that the computer should only be used for searching porn sites then we wouldnt have these kind of problems:D- bubbas1

Computer help
The wife loaded Microsoft Office in the computer while I was at work. Now when the computer starts up Mic Office opens and there is a bar on the right side of the screen for Mic Office. How do I keep this from opening everytime the computer is started up? Thanks- bubbas1
