In general, I use a system to pare down the initial possible plays to a workable number in all sports, once I get the possible games down to a manageable number then I scrap the system unless a play is off the charts. Once I get the list down, I will usually then rely on match-ups, past trends, and injuries. For example, today there are 37 possible plays in college hoops, as I pared the list down using a system it pared the list down to a manageable amount of 12 games, from that point I cut the list down to six.

Tough call in the UNC/Duke game, but in my opinion UNC is the best team in the country right now! This is a national television game, so Joe Public will be betting this game, which in turn will distort the real line movement. As you can see, the total has went up four points which is the general true line movement of a national TV game, as the public usually will bet the over. On a neutraul court, I would make UNC around a six point favorite, but as we have all seen crazy shit happens at Cameron. If the Heels shut down Reddick then they should win this game, but they may have to battle the refs tonight, as they should call this one pretty tight and to Duke's favor. I hope Bama cashes for the both of us!

MC, I'm with you, this is THE joe public game of the last month. I just think that since the books are doing a hell of a lot of action and just trying to keep on the level with this one the spread is too low and I'm basically betting AGAINST PUBLIC OPINION...not vegas' or mine which is about -5, I think. I def think the refs will call this tight, but won't be a factor when it comes down to the overall winner, neither coaches will let the refs get in the way of this one. There's a lot of movement so far and I'm glad I grabbed it at -1. Beware the total..... just go straight with this matchup

Great night going so far, as I have went 6-1 on my straight bets (focking Virginia), and have one parlay that already cashed for the night, and have a larger one pending with Duke and Denver left. Anyone have an opinion on if I should let it ride or buy some UNC in case they make a run and win outright?
