Good call last night on Oklahoma State and I have to agree with you that they look like a good team to make it to the final 4 or 8 when the madness starts. In todays games I am trying to decide between playing two road dogs, Colorado or North Carolina in your opinion which of these teams has the best shot at an outright win?

Gridiron:

The UNC and Geo Tech game is a tough game to cap since UNC is 3rd game of the toughest three game stretch that any team in the country will play this year. Bel;ieve it or not, UNC has a higher RPI ranking than Geo Tech, but I am becoming slightly disillusioned with the RPI rankings since they seem very skewed. For example UNC is ranked 15th in the RPI while St Joes is ranked 2nd, yet Saint Joes has played only 1 team in the top 20 whereas UNC has played 8. Don't get me wrong I think Saint Joes is a quality program and I think alot of folks are underestimating their chances to go deep into the tournament but the RPI is punishing teams like UNC, Geo Tech, Texas Tech etc for playing a strong schedule of top 20 teams. After that rant I would haveto say that I would pass on the UNC game and look more to atotal play on this game. Colorado and Mizzou, combined these teams are 0 and 7 vs top 25 teams, Mizzou is 3-9 vs top 100 teams and Buff's are 3-6, thus both teams have definitly underachieved all year. Buff's last road win was against Nebraska a team similiar in philosphy to Mizzou, Mizzou's last home win was a 9 point win over Kansas State, personally I would lean to taking the points but I am not sure if the moneyline warrants a play.

Any Tucky or Bama fans know if Fitch is definitly out for tonight? If he doesnt play this looks like a ripe spot for Bama to steal one here or at least hang within the number? Also Stockman is ? for the Cats with the Flu!

Anyone else like Michigan State or Penn outright tonight?

Also seeing alot of plays on numerous boards for Xavier as a heavy play tonight, am I missing something here, I know Richmond doenst blow teams out but Xavier has been miserable away from home all year. ANyone have any thoughts on why Xavier is such a strong play tonight?

Master Capper... A buddy of mine and myself really follow football, and when basketball season started we figured to give it a real shot this year. Well it has really been working out (knock on wood). I have to say that much of our success is due to excellent cappers like yourself. The insight on games available on this sight has truly stepped up my capping. Thank you for posting your knowledge of the game.:)

Liked OSU and Elon last night, you gave me the shove to take them big.

Back to business... I couldn't agree with you more on Richmond. If you go on either side of this game I can't imagine going against Richmond. Xavier has shown no promise on the road, and recently getting spanked at Dayton and GW. 1-5 ATS on the road? C'mon! They lost at home not even 3 weeks ago to this team. Could cappers be swaying toward X just because of the whole BS revenge factor?
I don't buy it I'm on Richmond.;)

Fitch will not be in the starting lineup tonight. I don't think he will play at all tonight, and if he does he won't be a factor. I would cap the game w/o him in the lineup. Keep in mind that Barbour has been playing well the past 3 games, he is the reason UK escaped with a win against South Carolina Saturday. With the consistency of Hayes and Daniels, and his improved play, I think UK comes out with a win tonight. All this being said there is no way I would back my Cats tonight. IMO they play with more intensity on the road than they do at Rupp. Tubby has a hard time motivating these guys when they are at home against average opponents. Bama looks like they've played well on the road all year, and they did win in Lexington 2 years ago. The only thing that scares me about Bama is that they just came off of that OT loss to SC. Other than that it doesn't look good for the home team. I see a close game throughout, with another nailbiting UK win.

I will take Bama tonight if I can get 10 through my local (who usually jacks up UK spreads) he kills all the homers around here.

IMO a lot of people see Xaiver as very talented and credit some blaim in their losses to looking forward to games against St. Joes and Cincy (Loss @ Duquesne & Loss @ Dayton). Also they come out sometimes and play with a lot of emotion and heart. However most of those efforts are in their home dome.

I'm on the Spiders large and IMO unless XU has an above average shooting night. It will be a coast to the cover.
I like the fact Richmond is coming home for this game. After being on the road for two big games the fans will be out. Tuesday's rematch with the Musketeers gives the Spiders a chance to capture their first victory against Xavier in the Robins Center.
