MC, why is UW-M only a 2 point fav? They strike me as the class of the horizon, and Butler seems to be struggling this year. Just wondering why the line is so low. Thanks.

I agree with you, Wis Mil and ILL CHi are the class of the league and the line seems out of whack and I will continue to check for injuries or something else. In the past Butler has been a beast at home and they are coming off a nice game against Det, WIs Mil coming off back to back road losses including a bad one to Youngstown State. This is a big game for Wis Mil as they can clinch the title and also set themselves up nicely for the conf tourny, it is highly doubtful that they can sneak into the big dance as an at large team and will have a tough matchup Sat with Manhattan. I have them winning here by 5.5 points.

Anyone that follows the Big East have an opinion on St Johns tonight? Gtown laying double digits is alot for an inept offensive team to cover on the road, to be honest I have not followed the Johnies saga that closely.

St Johns hasn't won a Big East game this year. They recently lost 89-61 to Boston College and 86-52 to West Virginia. They have lost 10 of their last 11. Tonight they will still be without Ingram (13.2 ppg), Keita, Diakite, and Hamilton, all out indefinatly due to suspension, and Grady Reynolds (11.8 ppg) has been dismissed from the team as well. Daryll Hill is now the teams leading scorer @ 12.2 ppg (37.7 % from the floor). It's difficult enough to win a conference game, try doing it with third stringers and walkons in the Big East.

Just some general info MC, not trying to sway you either way.
