Vandy under 140
This is the wrong time to be playing the Huskies as they have their defense in complete lockdown mode, opponets are shooting just 35% against the huskies defense in the last 10 games. Uconn has seen the Vandy offense twice in the past three years and will not have trouble adjusting to it for this game.

Cuse-1
Bama will have to stay hot from behind the 3 point line in order to win this game, but going back to when Bama faced a similiar 2-3 zone defense in Providence they struggled from the outside and this is one of the toughest defenses to play against unless you see a steady diet of this version of the zone.

Wake+3
Will the bubble burst for the Hawks in this game? Terrific matchup between Nelson and Paul, but you would have to give the advantage to Nelson due to his experience and also he is physically much stronger than Paul. Where I think Wake wins this game is in the paint, as the bigs of the Deacons are much more agile and really bang the boards as Wake has outbounded their opponets in 11 of the last 12 games. While the highlight matchup in this game will be the guard play, I think the key player in this game will be Eric Williams.

Pitt over 126.5
While there is no doubt that this game will be a slugfest in the paint this game as both teams play solid interior basketball and if you intend to score in the paint against either team then be prepared to be bodied on every drive. To win this game the team that can hit from outside the arc is going to have the advantage so look for each team to try to establish some form of a outside game. Neither team really relies on the outside shot as combined the teams average less than 25% of their shots coming from behind the three point arc, but nothing is going to come easy inside so they are going to have to get some form of perimiter game going. If your a fan of West Coast basketball then this game may bore the shit out of you as this is going to be a battle royale with alot of banging and little running.

Dont even know who is playing in the NIT, just have not had the time that I would like to study all the games. Between coaching girls softball and getting ready to play baseball myself my free time has really dwindled. Just going to go to a local sports pub tonight and down some tall Heineken's and enjoy the games, pass for me on the NIT tonight too lazy to even look at it.

True, the Wake/ St. Joes matchup is intriguing in many ways. I think that you may be right on the money about Eric Williams. He can dominate inside but HE MUST AVOID FOUL PROBLEMS!!!. He has been often too aggresive for his own good. I like the kid's effort but just wish he'd use the old brain a bit more.

prosser may bring williams off bench to hopefully have him for second half.with ten minutes to go in game if he has only 2 or even 3 fouls i like wake's chances.but then again he may start and get 3 fouls in 8 minutes of 1st half.
