One for tonight. Good luck.

Miami vs. PORTLAND over 174 350/318 (Alladins Gold)

Both teams played last night and are travelling. Miami played a down to the wire game. Though Portland led throughout, it was still relatively close all the way through and their starters played enough to justify playing the over.

I like it too.....Heat finally surpass 100

I like it too.....Heat finally surpass 100

-Heat finally found some team offense as a unit last night at LAL. The Heat TRIED to "choke" late 4th last night but Zo was stout until the end.

-My ONLY concern with the over play is Zo's minutes last night. He still isn't 100% and he must have another strong, energetic scoring game again tonight for this one to go over.

-I think Riley had the Heat in a "Zo zone" albeit against no Shaq. However, I have to believe Riley pushes the same offensive buttons against Portland tonight.

-Am not willing to say the Heat break 100 again tonight.....but......I have a feeling we go over this 173'total line.

To be honest I am a bit leery here for the reasons you guys mentioned plus the reason that both teams almost never run and they play very deliberate offenses. I am thinking of buying a little of that back.

Nick, hard to know what Riley's think'n is but a little run & gun worked for 102!

I have to believe as much as the Heat have struggled......Riley is more than ready to try anything for some winning bball. He could be inclined to playing a little less deliberate offense and allow the guys to run/create some like last night.

Not trying to talk you outa scaling back but Riley has got to use last night's LAL win as a turning point for this Heat team......if he's serious about staying in Miami.

Stifling defense is all well and good for the Heat but it hasn't won many games for them. Look for Riley to build on last night's offensive effort......just hoping Zo holds up.

Remind me not to play over when both teams have tired legs. Port looks more tired than Mia. Good call Nick

Aww, c'mon gsp. Over is the way to go with tired legs. Check out the o/u stats when both teams are unrested with travel, especially when they are coming off a close game the night before. I think this was more the exception than the rule. Tired legs usually mean bad defense and more fouls.

Portland died as the 4th started

Portland died as the 4th started

At about the 6 minute mark they had 5 stink'n points.

If this game went under it woulda been because of Portland going (as the announcer said) "STONE COLD" during the early 4th period.

Guess that's why we say GL.....cause that over was shear GL. ez
