I am passing on the NBA today but I figured I'd post what I got out of looking at these games in the local papers and the matchups.

-Lots of hype in Chicago for the Wiz and Jordan coming to town. Wiz are 10-2 vs. teams with losing records. Line has gone to -1 1/2 at CRIS for the Wiz, but Pinnacle is holding tight at PK, meaning maybe Chicago is the play.
-Mavs bench is struggling heading into tonight?s game vs. the Clips. Just 19 points in the big home loss to the Bucks a few days ago. Clips dominated the Sixers New Year?s Eve but went 4-23 in a pitiful 3rd quarter to seal the loss.
-Could be some distractions for Phoenix at home against Philly with a big local article about Stoudamire deserving All Star consideration and the Fiesta Bowl going on tomorrow night in town. Sixers shot a pitiful 36.5% against the Clips last time out but won anyway.
