1/24 NHL Plays

I've spent the last two days tracking some things at a few sharp and not so sharp books. I think I have found something useful and I will post those plays here. There are two that deserve a look-see tonight. Good luck.

CAROLINA PK -150 over Florida

New Jersey PK -131 over AHAHEIM

I am on a break from playing but if I were going to play them, I would probably risk $400 on each game, which is basically the equivalent of a 1* play or about 2.67% of your current bankroll.

Interesting Nick. I see you are on 2 favs. Carolina is playing just awful and Florida plays a ver good system with Keenan. NJ is a tough team to get a handle on. They never should have lost to that pathetic SJ team. NJ has never been a great west coast road team. GL tonight!

About Carolina; A Carolina loss tonight would be their 8th straight at home. Yes, they lost Brind'Amour for a significant amount of time, but they absolutely dominated Washington the other night despite losing 5-3 (w/ an EN goal). Kolzig (and 2 one-timers from Jagr) won that game for Washington. The Canes controlled play for long stretches, with very good forechecking and cycling, got tons of shots on net, but could not convert till late in the game. They also were a little unlucky on the PP and took some bad penalities at crucial times. They deserved to win that game and were a post away from forcing OT with a minute to go 6 on 4.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I want to make sure you all know that I am not playing these games right now because I am on a sabbatical from wagering, but I do see both as strong percentage plays, all things consideed. GL.
