Irish -1....been anxiously awaiting to see what the lines would look like for Seton Hall when they started Big East play and I have to say I'm suprised by this one. Seton's played some soft teams, and have struggled mightily. Watched them have trouble pulling away from Morgan State Monday night (game was tied with under ten minutes remaining) and this has been the theme all year. Beat Drexel by 4, St Peter's by 4, St Francis by 1, and even in their wins of 8+ they were never comfortable in their leads. Early in the season I thought they were playing close to the vest but now I'm convinced they just are not that good. Without Barrett running the point they look lost on offense at times, struggling to set up plays and often can't even get the ball up the floor without a hitch. Irish are giving up only 56.2 points a game and have a +2.2 steal to turnover ratio. The concern here is that Notre Dame has only played two road games, but those two were tougher tests than Seton Hall, going to Indiana (ten point win) and to Michigan (1 point loss). Trival tidbit, but it's supposed to snow tommorrow afternoon/night and Seton doesn't fill up Continential Airlines Arena as it is. Don't expect much of a home crowd for this one.

Got an offer as well for some free tickets -- have a feeling it will be an empty house tommorrow night, especially considering it's an ESPN2 game.

Push --- have to say Seton played better than expected on the defensive end, and ND just isn't as disciplined as I had hoped. For all the publicity he seems to get in the Big East Chris Thomas takes a lot of bad shots in my mind. Still think that Seton Hall is on a real downslide this year and will be a good fade in the right spot, hopefully the lines continue to give them respect because of acomplishments from last season.

I know this really doesnt matter much to you as you got a push but I bet the game at my lunchtime. My local had the game at pick so I won the bet and wanted to say props because I wouldnt have touched it unless I saw your thread

Glad you got the win. No biggy that I pushed, because I know that it just means my next Seton Hall line will be soft, and the right team will expose them. Wish I would have waited as well, I booked this one overnight thinking -1 was a great line, and that is was only going to get worse the longer I waited. Live and learn, glad you won some loot, and pushes don't bother me it's not like I lost anything.
