I've been a Skins fan all of my life. Saw my first live game at age 5, when they played at Griffith Stadium. So I'm telling my age.
The worst thing that happened to them was the death of Jack Kent Cooke. Why he didn't leave the team and the stadium to his son is beyond me.
I think it's time to end my allegiance. Dan Snyder sucks. The Redskins suck.

FIX IS ON....watched the game....skins had plenty of opportunities for the charity back-door cover...they get ball back with 2:30 left on their own 20 down 13....philly ready willing to let them score....wash. is runnin the ball and throwing 5 yd. passes....their offense is a joke....why did spurrier punt on 4th down at end of game???? got to hand it to their defense....they played with alot of heart and played a good game.....turnovers by offense killed them ....thought spurrier was an offensive genuis.....lol.
they cost me a bunch....i touted wash. outright today....meanwhile i hit minny and bears on moneyline today....had all 3-tied up togother....woulda paid a fortune.

I had them too and watched the game also. Straight bet +7', keyed 2 parlays, and +2' for the second half. I would have hit the 2nd half if they don't let the Eagles drive down and kick the late fieldgoal. I end up losing by the hook. I agree, the Redskins had lots of chances. That's been the story all year. Champ Bailey muffs another punt, and gives the Eagles a short field (looked like a replay of last week). The bad hand-off/fumble recovery for the TD didn't help either.
I couldn't believe the punt either. I guess they figured they'd give the punter a little more practice. Spurrier looks like an idiot...and the players compliment him.
Did you notice the announcers were saying the game was over with over 2 minutes left? The Redskins had the ball and a chance to score to pull within 7 and make an onsides kick. The announcers must have known something.
Better days ahead. Maybe.
