1 BIG Play Tonight

YTD 5-2-0

Lalime and Potvin are nets tonight in what should be another wide open game for the Sens. In the Sens last 2 games they have won 5-2 over Western Conf. teams in Det. & Col. Ott. has a team that would be much more suited to playing a Western Conf. style. Lots of team speed and a little more wide open hockey than the hard hitting East Conf.
Prousek was expected to get his first start this year for the Sens but Martin is staying with the hot hand. I wouldn't be surprised to see Prousek play tomorrow night against the Bruins.
No changes in the Sens line-up from last game. These teams had quite the brawl last year and both teams are talking like they want a piece of each other. I expect many PP chances and Ott. has scored a PP goal in each of their last 9 games including 3 last game against Col.
Ott. has always played well against Western Conf. teams at home and this trend will not change tonight. Looking for a 2 goal victory. Something else to keep in mind, the Kings are on a 17 day road trip and just flew in yesterday from San Jose. Should be another dominating performance by the better skilled and skating team. Smolinski has gone on radio this morning saying Ott. is probably the fastest skating team in the league and he sees this as their biggest task so far this year.

Playing:

Ott. PK.(-175)

No offence meant, and I hope none taken, but a posted record in hockey without the plus\minus units tells very little if anything about the handicappers skill.

GL tonight.

heleanth,

Been in here over year now and eveyone on this sight knows me and what my units are for each game. I don't need to show anyone or anything to prove myself or my skill. If you don't like it toooooo bad. I am not forcing you to follow my plays. I give info here that many others don't have access to on the Sens. I guess I don't like people calling me out and I see that you were not trying to with the way you stated your response but I still take offense a bit. Hope you understand.

Hey, Horns. That's OK with me. I enjoy your write-ups and have no doubt that you know your hockey. Many times I do follow your plays. I just thought you might want to know what people that understand recordkeeping think when they see your record posted without units.

Keep on keepin on and I truly hope you win every play! Good luck.

P.S. The units probably mean more to me than many of the others because I don't know chit about hockey! Enjoy your posts. Please don't take offense, none meant and wouldn't have posted if I thought you would.

Good luck, Horns. My 2 concerns for the over in this game is #1 Storr vs Potvin, since Murray keeps a very tight lip about what his game plan is. And #2 is that I think the Sens decided to play extra physical vs the Kings is because they think that's the best way to beat Allison and the Kings. Now without Allison, I'm not sure if they would stick to the same plan as last yr, especially when the Sens are winless in the last 3 vs LA.

Would like to hear what you think??

Just something to keep in mind. Aaron Miller will be in the line up

tonight and the Kings are also starting Mike Camalleri, their top

prospect. Andy Murry said on Radio this morning that Storr has

looked great in practice and in regard to Camalleri he feels this

could be a great game for him because of the way Ottawa opens

up the play. Regardless of who wins, this is gonna be a good one.

I'm more happy that they send Steve Kelly down than calling Camalleri up, something they should have done weeks ago. The Kings need offense and speed, and this kid can play, and will be skating with Deadmarsh and Ziggy. He's got 14 points in 9 games with the Manchester Monarchs, I believe.
