N.E. @ Buff
I have been looking at this game all week and the more I look at it the more I think Buffalo will be exposed in this game! Call me a homer or whatever, but I just don't see NE losing this game. At the very least of reasons is this game is huge for NE, you can almost say that if they lose this game their season is done!
The Pats have the 2nd best defense against the pass in the NFL. Buff has faced some pretty loose pass D's so far this season. If you look @ their 1st 8 games the best ranked pass D they have faced is Houston @ #8. Here are the rest of the pass D's they have faced and their rank...Den #11, Chi #20, Mia #21, Oak #24, NYJ #27, Det #30, Min #31. In those 8 games Bledsoe has been sacked 30 times, 2nd most allowed.
I think NE should be able to have a well balanced attack against the Buff D. Look for Antowain Smith to Have a break out day.
Buff has had a pretty weak schedule, 4 of the 5 wins against teams that have 2 and 5 records. The only good team they beat was Miami and that was a gift handed to them by Ray Lucas!
NE has lost 4 in a row, thats not good, but if you look @ the combined record of the 4 teams they lost to they are 23 - 6...
In the last 8 games these 2 teams have played (since 1998) 5 of the 8 games have been decided by 3 points, They play each other tight. So when you are getting 3 that sounds pretty good to me.
I'll take the 3 with NE 550/500
Also going with the money line on NE...500 to win 725...
