Top 2 teams in the NHL do battle tonight as Lalime and Turco are the starters in net for their respective teams. This is a game the Sens have been looking ahead to for more than a week. Sens always get up and play their best hockey against the leagues top teams. Dallas has the best home record and the Sens have one of the best road records. What gives in a contest like this??
Well, both teams wait to capitalize on each others mistakes. Therefore special teams will be the deciding factor as it is on most nights. But more importantly the team who does a better job scoring 5 on 5 will no doubt win this game. Should be a great game to watch as it is even on ESPN Nationally which does not happen very often having a Canadian team on ESPN. Havlat returns for Ott. after a 5 day lay off. Sens will use the cycle to their advantage and win a tight affair. No lean on the total as it could be a defensive struggle early on but if a team gets 1 or 2 quick goals it will be a shootout. No hockey fan should miss this game tonight. Great skating teams means skill will be showcased and none of the clutching and grabbing will go on.

Playing:

Ott.+.5(-105)

GLTA!

HORNS:)

Sorry to all of those who I did not reply to over the last 3 days as I have barely been on-line. I will make sure to get back to everyone this week.

My first take on the total is under. But I am staying away for the simple reason that both teams have great playmakers. This could be a playoff type game where each team sits and waits for a mistake and hope to capitalize on it. Wish I could give you more insight. GL

Anyways, do you know fore sure if this game will be on ESPN?? ESPN.com has Nash/Buf scheduled, my TV Guide says Nash/Buf, but GameDay has Ott/Dal on E2. Did they decide to switch games today??

Unless your in the Buffalo or Nashville market I would bet you will get the Dallas/Ottawa game....

Center Ice is the only way to go if you can get it- Nearly every game of the year is televised:eek:

Go Habs Go!!
I sense some modesty ddubs...

They say a great goalie always creates his own luck through his hard work and great play... This rule applies in all aspects of life: if you work hard, you will get the breaks you need and be rewarded with success. Food for thought. :)

0-1 Tonight

I really wish I had of listened to the pre-game show tonight because with Redden out with the flu I knew the Sens only had 6 healthy D going to Dallas with Curtis out. With your number D out everyone knows how it greatly affects a team. The Sens had odd pairings all night, on the PP and PK. I honestly would have bought back the Sens play.
I will most likely be playing Ana. big as I have some material to post that nobody will be able to post. Check back Wed.
As for Feb.27, I already have it circled on the calendar. Sens will be a big play for me over Dallas barring any major injuries on the Sens side.

Horns- really think this game could have gone either way-

Lalime played very well, except for the one mistake-

With Redden out I think their D got a little tired and as the game went on the fatigue factor that Dubs outlined definitely caught up with them-

I really think the Sens will remain amongst the top until the end of the season- They have everything it takes to contend for the cup IMO (if they can avoid playing the Leafs in the playoffs:p )

good luck on Tuesday- I really like a couple;)

Losing Redden was huge. The game went kinda as I expected, all Sens 1st 1/2, then all Stars the 2nd 1/2. But with Redden in the game, the final score might have been different. It just looks like the Sens were playing "prevent D" in the 3rd trying to compensate for Redden's absence and protect the 3-2 lead. Havlat was really something though, wasn't he?:D

Definitely like the Sens vs the Quacks, they should get at least a point out of there. I had the Kings game circled a month ago as a go against on the Sens...........well, scratch that chit. The Kings couldn't score on my grandma in net.

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW, HORNS:D
