1 Play Tonight

Lalime & Irbe are the starters tonight. Both teams have not played since Sat. Sens were given the last 2 days off as they gear up for the playoffs. Neil returns tonight and Fisher, Havlat & Hull should return either this Friday or Sunday against Montreal. Look for a low scoring game, the under might be a good play. 'Canes play a conservative game on the road while Ott. plays a little better defensively at home. Could be a first round playoff preview tonight. Look for Ott. to come out hard with fresh legs and a strong game from their vets.

Playing:

Ott. - PK.(-175)

Leaning to Cal. & Edm. Cal. has played better recently and are a little more loose now that the playoffs are out of reach. If you can get Cal. at -.5 grab it. Edm. has everything going for them with a 6 game win streak. Looks like all the Canadian teams might win at home tonight.

Note: Canucks are winless in L.A. over the last 6 years, is this the night they get that big win?

The Canucks have been awesome on the road as of late and the Kings are coming home after a tough road trip. Kings have struggled at home this year and have not been able to score many goals at home.
This should be a tight checking playoff caliber game tonight. Cloutier has been solid in net of late for the Canucks and Potvin has played solid at home this year.
What are your thoughts on the under 5
(-105)?

What's up HORNS? How's that shirt fit? Seems like the Sharks and your Sens are the two teams people like tonight based on the POD thread, yours here and FDC's...

I agree with the Sens tonight. They haved beaten up on the ex-Whale pretty good this year and with the time off, I think it happens again.

I realy liked the B's tonight, Philly not playing well and then there's the 3/4 nights and travel last night. BUT - I wasn't expecting them to loose 3 in a row SU. That makes me nervous...You have an opinion you want to share with me?

jakejj,

The under on the Kings game is a pass for me. Teams returning home from road trips tend to be a little sloppy defensively and therefore have more scoring chances which usually equates to more goals. You are right about the Kings struggling at home this year but L.A. is an unpredictable bunch over the last 6 games. I would play the Car./Ott. under before the Kings/Van. under. GL with your plays.

mugs,

As for the Bruins, you are looking at all the right angles about this game but for some reason I can't get a handle on it and I am taking a pass, I don't want to force the play. The Flyers have struggled with Roenick out of the line-up. This game is for first overall in the conference with only 5 or 6 games left. Too much on the line for both teams. Both teams are looking at this game and saying to themselves who do we want to play in the first round, bottom line is you would rather play the 8th seed so it should be a tight affair. The Sens have played the 'Canes well over the last 2 years. As for the shirt, just awesome, fits great and looks great, good call.

GL with your plays mugs!

My Bad Horns
Yahoo Sports just showed the score as Sens winning 2-1 with 16:00 left in the first. Now it is showing the Canes winning 1-0 with 13:00 left in the first.
Either someone is screwing with my head or I have been sitting in front of this computer too long! My bad!:(
