WVU -21
really like this one.
VMI has some serious issues on the defensive end. the only real threat they pose to keep it close is a barrage of 3 pointers but even that would not be enough to keep it from getting out of hand. WVU will be able to score at will. I know that might sound like an exaggeration but WVU will dominate on the offensive end. VMI also likes to play extremely fast so expect WVU to score close to 100 if not more. VMI also turns the ball over at an alarming rate. to their credit, they have a very good guard in QJ Peterson, but he can only do so much. VMI will score some points, but only because of the shear volume of shots they put up with their fast tempo. Huggy Bear has a very solid team this year. they will force turnovers and score early and often.
as long as WVU is focused on the game at hand, they will dominate in every facet. they will force turnovers, score a lot of points, get 2nd chance points on the shots that miss. if they defend the 3 point line well this game is going to be extremely lopsided.
20ish points is a lot to lay in a bball game because of the garbage time you usually get in a blowout, but this game should be a lot closer to -30 IMO.
