i think this will be a game where you see a lot of rough play and as of late the big east has been calling lots of fouls which is great for the friars as they shoot almost 79% from the line as a team ,also the friars were very hot shooting last game at a fast pace and think they look to keep it up, they know they can not sit back and beat pitt in a half court game not enough muscle for that so they will try to push the action which pitt does not really care they will run if teams want to run with them. The teams that have kept pitt down scoring wise were able to match up inside with them.
Also pitt is not a happy team not only did they blow thier 2nd chance of being #1 they fell behind nd in the big east west. pitt has 5 guys that avg in dd's and seem to do much better at a faster pace game. They have a very tuff deff and hold teams down but like i said for the friars to have a chance in this game they are going to have to run and put up some 3 pointers and i think the foul line will add 15-20 points to this game and pitt will not back down from running.
pitt was hot last game in first half and feel apart 2nd half shooting less then 30% as the orangemen slowed the pace. because they could play inside wll prov can't do that so they have to try and force fast pace game which pitt can play fast or slow. pitt will neeed to do a better job at the line but just think this is going to be a faster pace game then many thing and lot of fouls.
pitt said they need more off and what better place to start then at home where they are untouchable so far.
so cheap fouls 3 pointers and pitts inside out side game should give this a good chance of going over.
