Interesting everyone says Florida, Wichita State, and Arizona are locks. So who is the 4th #1 seed? Well it should probably be Louisville despite the fact they haven't beaten a lot of great teams. They are the 4th best team IMHO. I would give 2 seeds to Kansas (won Big 12 by 3 games), Michigan (won Big 10), Virginia (won ACC) and Villanova (won Big East). It's not fair to over-reward teams winning conference tourneys which are a crap shoot. Sorry Wisky, but you should be a 3 seed despite a lot of impressive wins.

No arguments with Louisville at all. Just ask UConn at the moment.

I don't think it would be over rewarding conference tourneys, I think they 4th #1 seed is that close. If Virginia wins it they deserve it. Louisville hasn't beaten anyone, not that they are not the 4th best team, they don't have the body of work to deserve the #1 seed if Virginia wins tomorrow. If they lose, all the remaining teams have good resumes, but not enough to warrant an uncontroversial #1 seed.

the perspective and idiocy of some are hilarious:

"the Aztecs might have had a claim to a 1 seed and locked up a 2 seed with a win over new mexico....with the loss it's likely a 2 or 3 seed......i'll be shocked if they're below a 3 seed"

says the local san diego "sportscaster"

memo to the local yocals who just discovered college basketball 3 years ago.......YOU HAD NO CHANCE AT A 1 OR 2 SEED and if the comm goes by actual numbers sdsu should be a 4-5 seed......and all the locals will be "shocked at the low seed" tomorrow.

as for the 4th #1 seed

Louisville is hot and they're #2 in kenpom......but their overall numbers, rpi, etc all suck......and suggest a 4 type seed (but I think they'll get bumped because of how "hot" they are.

I think the final 1 spot might go to mich/duke

Yeah Louisville is playing top 3 ball right now, but I would bet they get a #2 seed, no way they get a #1, no way they get a #3. I think the other #1 goes to Virginia if they win or Michigan if they lose.

I'm just saying it should be Louisville? sure they haven't beaten shit. However, they're easily 4th best club based on recent performances. Have no problem with UVA or Michigan #1 if they win their tourney.

Put Wichita State and Kansas in same side of tourney at 1 & 2 so hopefully they play. Wichita State is amazingly well coached while KU is a train wreck. Self hasn't done much well with this team and if they don't have Joel in the middle, they have a great shot losing second round. Wichita State has the chance to go 40-0 based on coaching in tight games? Marshall is a gamer and Shockers only lost 1 player from last year worth a damn.

If you can get Shockers 10-1 or more, take them. This team is really legit other than the center/PF position.

I totally agree with ALL of your 1 and 2 seeds...I live in WIS and have no issue being a 3 seed...Nothing wrong with that at all...
