ARIZONA -208 over St. Louis "to risk" 1* (400/192)
This line keeps falling but I get the feeling it is more because people feel that the line is "too high" rather than the fact that they think the Cards will beat Johnson. In my opinion this is something of a must-win game for the Diamondbacks. If they lose with Johnson on the hill then they are the inferior offensive team without home field advantage and with a game 2 starter who has looked vulnerable over the last few weeks of the season. Diamondbacks got to Morris in his last game against them and he has just not been the same pitcher this season in general. The depth of Arizona is very good even without Gonzalez and they have a few good pitchers in the bullpen. Mainly I am backing the best pitcher in the game in what I view as a must-win game for them if they are to advance in this series.
