Updated Record 2-1 +18.5*... Stupid Pick on the Tigers last night. What the F*ck was I thinking taking a team that is 19-32 their last 51 games. They just got swept by the Royals and aren't ready for the prime time.

Twins (-130) for 7.5*... First favorite I will have taken during the playoffs. Twins are in a situation where a loss will cripple them. Loaiza is 4-6 with a 6.08 ERA on the road and has a .316 BA against him away from home. He's been roadkill lately giving up 13 Earned Runs in his last 14.1 Innings away from home:scared I doubt Frank Thomas has a multi-homer game again either.
Bonser has been solid lately and had a respectable 4-4 home record with a 3.93 ERA. Minnesota has the better lineup, better starting pitcher as Bonser hasn't given up over 3 earned runs in at least his last 10 starts. Twins also have the better bullpen and they should take care of business IMO. This is a must win for the Twins and I think they hit Loaiza hard.

Dodgers +128 for 10*... I know there is a chance my Action Bet will have the line moved depending on the Mets starter. I'm sticking with LA & Lowe. He's been solid lately and has come up big in the playoffs during past seasons. Dodgers have also been playing very good down the stretch and LA has a number of veterans with playoff experience who should come up big. Mets haven't played a meaningful game in a long time and currently don't know their game #1 starter... not a good recipe for success IMO.

No prediction is available until the Mets list their starting pitcher for tomorrow. I think this is a huge distraction for the Mets.

Most likely playing Pinstripes Run Line... Fool me once, shame on me, but you aren't going to fool me tomorrow night. Yankees are going to win the World Series with this sick lineup... best in baseball history IMO from top to bottom. I foresee a sweep or 3-1 Pinstripes as Tigers just don't match up well.:SIB

Great write up Destructor. I agree on all picks. The Yankees will not lose tomorrow night with Mussina on the mound. Loaiza will get rocked tomorrow, I expect guys like Hunter and Cuddy to step up tomorrow in a must win game for the Twins. The Mets are ripe for an ass whoopin, Kent, Nomar, and Drew wil be 3 tough outs for the Mets. Lowe has been pitching great lately and knows how to pitch in the playoffs.

Upgrading Twins to 10* (-130)... I just don't see them losing tomorrow. They were a little shell shocked today and Zito was a brutal matchup for Morneau and Mauer... Loaiza will seem like batting practice IMO. I also think Bonser does well.

Prediction: Twins 7-4

Yankees -1.5 (-110) for 10*... Verlander has excellent numbers this season, but he's really struggled lately. In Verlander's one start against the Pinstripes, he got crushed. He hasn't gone more than 5 innings in his last 3 starts and has really faded just like the Tigers late in the season.

Mussina is an eye opening 17-5 with a 2.50 ERA vs. the Tigers for his career. He's got arguably the best lineup in baseball history backing him. I think we see another New York victory Wednesday night. It won't be quite as high scoring. Let's hope the Pinstripes win by at least 2 runs which is why the run line is so difficult at times. Howeve, I don't lay 200+ odds in baseball as anything can happen.

Prediction: Yankees 6-3

2-3 Updated -4.5*... just awful day... now I'm worried that I've jinxed the Pinstripes tonight.

Adding NYY Over 5.5 runs for 3* (-120)... I think the Yankees are going to score at least 6 runs tonight. Probably not the brightest play, but I'm going with it.
