I had a board 2 years ago that was $100 per square and paid $100 everytime the score changed. At the end of game who ever had the end of game numbers won the remainder of cash. It was a lot to keep up with but was a great board. It gave a lot of chances to win your money back. Paid out $6400 to my wife's uncle at the end of game.

I'm on 3 boards this year.

Local bar just across state line here has a "Chicken Drop". They sell tickets for squares and then put a chicken on the board. What ever square the chicken takes a dump on wins the cash. They start the night off with $1 per square, then $2, $5, and usually do 2 drops for $10 per square toward the end of the evening. Its 100% payout so gambling laws are not broken and it packs the house. My wife won $1000 and I hit the $400 the week before we got married.

I think it was the Broncos/Packers Super Bowl.

Wife got in a $200 per square board. The guy who runs it keeps 2K and there's 18K in the pool(2k, what a scam). Each quarter paid $4500.

Wife hit the 2nd quarter. I'm about to piss myself! Freaking jumping around like we won the lottery. Proceeded to continue drinking. 3rd quarter, no scoring! Hits the 3rd quarter. Freaking 9 grand!

I was in a coma after that.

Best Super Bowl ever.

Who won?

I have run these boards since high school and the one thing that always surprises me, is how surprised everybody is when they as k me how much of the money taken in will go into the pool...........I never took a nickel from any of them. I also have been on other boards, but would NEVER play a single board that the person running it takes a portion of the money for himself. There was one guy that took a portion, but he held a huge SB Party and supplied all of the liquor and food, so he wasn't really pocketing the cash.

The main reason I would run them was to make sure that I would have an opportunity to be involved in one myself.

After all of these years however, I have never even won on a quarter score. Oh well, maybe that should give me enough reason not to be on one this year.
