Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Wednesday blamed the rise of ISIS on hawkish members of the GOP who he said were too eager to intervene abroad.
Paul, who is running for president, has worked to push back against the characterization that he is an isolationist and weak on foreign policy. On Wednesday, Paul said that those who said his kind of foreign policy was responsible for the rise of ISIS were wrong.
"I would say it's exactly the opposite. ISIS exists and grew stronger because of the hawks in our party who gave arms indiscriminately. And most of those arms were snatched up by ISIS. These hawks also wanted to bomb [Syrian President Bashar al-Assad], which would have made ISIS's job even easier," he said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "They created these people. ISIS is all over Libya because these same hawks in my party loved -- they loved [former Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton?s war in Libya. They just wanted more of it."
Paul's comments come amid a heightened focus on the Iraq war and U.S. foreign policy. Earlier this month, a college student confronted former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, another likely Republican presidential candidate, and told him that his brother was responsible for the rise of ISIS -- something that the 43rd president did in fact help with. Both Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) struggled to say whether or not they would have invaded Iraq in 2003 with the intelligence available today.

You compared a pit bull with a poodle. Wtf?
You said pit bulls do not attack without provocation. Then you stated " I never said anything about the dog being provoked" Well which the hell is it? The dog attacked. My god you like to spew talk out of your ass and expect everyone here to believe it. But in your mind its the gospel. I love dogs and I am sure very few Pit Bulls are killers or maim children but poodles do neither. Where are all the killer poodles?
Where are all the disfigured children from poodles? I do know Pit Bulls have been exploited and the attacks are most of the time from irresponsible owners and thats a shame as all dogs are a gift. But when a Pit Bull is exploited and does attack the damage can be irreparable or death. Not death by poodle.

The dog was locked the fuck up in its owners home. The owner had no idea that the woman and her daughter went into the home and let the dog out. If you enter a fucking house and unleash a fucking dog in its own home that you're not invited into than its your own fucking fault.

Don't know much about dogs in general, and Poodles in particular, do you?
My wife used to walk in a seldom used park with her large (85#) Poodle.
One day she ran into a flasher.
She said EEK!, and the Poodle went after the flasher.
He thought he been had by a Timber Wolf.
Another time a large male German Shepard strolled into our yard. The Poodle just looked at him until he lifted his leg on a bush. The Poodle hit him full tilt, and held him by the throat and on his back until the Shepard urinated on himself. The Poodle then let him up, nipped his backside, and the badass German Shepard disappeared and was never seen again.
Some think Poodles are wimps, and they are usually friendly and playful, but piss one off, and he will eat your lunch.
However Poodles never attack without provocation. Pit Bulls sometimes just "go off". Last year a woman here was killed by her own two Pit Bulls.
I don't trust Pit Bulls nor the people who own them. They tend to be the same folks who are afraid to go to Wal*Mart without a loaded gun.
I think familiarity with the "bully breeds" expands trust. I've worked with them for years and have developed a great deal of trust in my ability to understand their behavior and such. I do believe there is a good deal of embellishment and media propaganda that is weighted towards promoting distrust
