12 Killed at Batman Movie in Denver last night

A gunman opened fire early Friday at a movie theater in a Denver suburb, killing 14 people and leaving at least 50 other injured, Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said.
The shooting occurred during a showing of the latest Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises," police said.
The violence erupted about 12:30 a.m. MDT as the gunman stood at the front of one of the Century 16 theaters at the Aurora Mall.
"Witnesses tell us he released some sort of canister. They heard a hissing sound and some gas emerged and the gunman opened fire," Oates said at a news conference.
One suspect is in custody and there's no evidence of any additional shooters, Oates said.
There was no immediate word of any motive.

My buddy lives in that city and stayed there when I went to the WS in 07....left him 2 texts and haven't heard anything yet...No chance in hell he would be at the Movies with a small Child but is a driver for Fed Ex so he has probably delivered to that apt complex...what's up with Colorado and mass shootings

It's a pretty fucking simple argument. Show me gun deaths in countries that do not allow their citizens to carry and then compare that to the US.

For every person "saved" by having a weapon on them there are probably 10,000 killed by guns.

I just googled buy AK 47 and you can get one for $749 and they will ship it to you. Fucking thing comes with 30 round clips and of course you can buy multiple clips for easy reload.

As a Colorado resident this shit hurts today. A buddy and I went to that theater in Aurora during law school back in 2000 and came out and his car was gone and I never went back, but it is a tragic event that these fucking wackjobs can prepare for a war with innocent people watching a movie.
