Looks fantastic. Love that crust. I like my burger Patty just like my steak (and how hedgehog likes
His women)?? thick and with a crust

Last night I Made burgers here. As of the last couple Weeks, I No longer cook my burgers on the grill. I now season with salt/pepper. sear both sides in a thick bottom skillet at the highest temperature possible until crust begins to develop. then I drop skillet in the oven at 400 until cooked to temperature (medium for burgers) flipping after about 3 Minutes. Crust develops further in oven While it cooks to temp. Only difference from when I prepare steak, I remove the steak just before rare and I baste in same skillet in butter and garlic for about a minute per side until mid rare.

No thanks. Looks like shit.

You still vegetarian or pescatarian? I?m about to switch back to pescatarian mostly plant based and fresh shellfish/fish about 3-4 meals weekly starting 26th for 6 months. I?m already full time no dairy except some limited amount of cheese and butter/milk/cream in prepared food when I go out to eat.I do it periodically for months at a time to help my bloodwork look better. Because my hobby is eating, I trend high in cholesterol and such.

I switched back to "normal", but I only eat meat/seafood a couple times a week. Wife's vegetarian, so it just works out that way. I did vegetarian for awhile and the pescatarian thing for 5 years. I have been thinking about going pescatarian again but haven't committed. If there is one advantage, it limits your options at restaurants. That might seem like a downer bit when you look at the crap on those menus it ends up being a plus.

The food porn that gets posted is almost always something that I would enjoy immensely, and something I would certainly at least try, even if it wouldn't be my choice off the menu if I was paying.

If that stack arrived at my table I would start by removing about 5 patties in order to enjoy what otherwise looks pretty damn good.
