13 Pitt Panther basketball players walk into a gym

I'm watching this game and baffled at how Kevin Stallings has made it this far as a coach.
Pitt has literally played the ENTIRE half the same way. No adjustments at all. Pass around the zone until about 10 seconds left and either turn the ball over, clank a 18 footer, blocked shot. I am dumb founded how they have not passed the ball in the middle of the zone.
Literally one of the worst coaching jobs I've ever witnessed during a game. What is he talking to his players about during time outs? How about pushing the tempo a little?

It's not helping that Steph Curry is playing all five offensive positions for SYR. They just couldn't miss a three for about 12 minutes.
You are right about the coaching job, it's horrific. It's likely not helping that there isn't a Pitt player on the court who could hit the broadside of a large county from 5-8 feet away.

Syracuse was on fire, but that had nothing to do with Pitt's offensive strategy. I was completely dumb founded that Pitt continued to walk the ball up the court, pass around the zone for 20 seconds then force a jumper, miss contested layups, and turnovers. I just don't understand. Call a time out and tell your players if they don't pass the ball in the middle of the zone, they're coming out. There are 2 ways to break a zone...pass the ball in the middle, and don't let them set up in a zone! Pitt did neither, nor attempted to. It was baffling.
Odds are Cuse won't shoot that high 2nd half......I got faith Pitt makes a run gets back in it! Hopefully they come out a DIFFERENT team 2nd half
