A little history

A little history

From American Free Press http://americanfreepress.net/?p=7731

In May 2010, President Obama asked for $205M for Israel?s Iron Dome, and almost immediately, on May 20, 2010, the House approved the funding by a 410?4 vote. The House gave Israel another $680M, totaling $900M ?invested? in Israel?s Iron Dome since 2011.

Congress admits that even though they gave nearly a billion dollars for Iron Dome, the taxpayers and the U.S. government have ?no rights to the technology involved,? according to published reports.

Again on June 4, 2012, the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee ?robbed? $210M from the budget to protect the American people from missile attacks?and gave it to Israel for Iron Dome.

All this money went to Israel?s huge military-industrial complex, shutting out American companies. America?s national debt crisis could be solved with the enormous profits the Israeli Ministry of Defense is going to rake in selling Iron Dome to America and to its captive market: NATO, most European countries, South Korea, Pakistan, India and anyone else who can borrow money to purchase it.

My thoughts,

SO,apparently we American taxpayers have funded this, and have NO rights to its technology. But Israel can sell it to us....OF COURSE it is 90% effective (they claim)....sure we will sell it to the American Public who funded its very development.
Looks like a win win:142hump:

Non Public relations report

Non Public relations report

http://thebulletin.org/iron-dome-public-relations-weapon7308

During the November 2012 conflict, a detailed review of a large number of photographs of Iron Dome interceptor contrails revealed that the rocket-defense system's success rate was very low?as low as 5 percent or, perhaps, even less.

A variety of media outlets have attributed the low casualty number to the supposed effectiveness of the Iron Dome system, quoting Israeli officials as saying it has destroyed 90 percent of the Hamas rockets it targeted.
But close study of photographic and video imagery of Iron Dome engagements with Hamas rockets?both in the current conflict and in the 2012 hostilities?shows that the low casualties in Israel from artillery rocket attacks can be ascribed to Israeli civil defense efforts, rather than the performance of the Iron Dome missile defense system.

The collection of data for Iron Dome's performance in July 2014 is still in progress. The data we have collected so far, however, indicates the performance of Iron Dome has not markedly improved.

Certain SELECTIVE lives apparently:shrug:

http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/rania-khalek/israels-iron-dome-doesnt-cover-bedouins

The Naqab (Negev) desert in the south of present-day Israel is home to 200,000 indigenous Palestinian citizens of Israel, known as Bedouins, most of whom are completely defenseless against falling rockets because the Israeli government refuses to protect their villages and denies them the right to build bomb shelters.

Joker, I totally agree, Fuck Politics....
