you take one day at a time, and look back to see a life time of accomplishments.

someone once told me, dont focus on who you were, the focus is on who you are today.

God Bless M:toast:

Old School....

I have nothing but respect for you. It takes the biggest of men to stand up and do something about their life when they feel like it's in the crapper. If more people could do with their problems what you did about your problems, this world would be a better place to be. Thank you so much for sharing. One day, I really hope to shake your hand and share some stories.

I guess being an addict and being a compulsive gambler as I am, being here at MJs could really be bad for me. Been here many years and still gambling I have lost friends family more money than I care to remember but I cant quit.
My hats off to you Old School, this addiction I have I cant beat I have been to outpatient counselors a gambling treatment program inpatient for 6 months and now medication to curb the addiction process that is in the brain, I have heard all the doctors and watched all the horror happen but................well I probably will never quit. I have had some shit happen that I thought only happened in movies to me but for what its worth my last story is worth a quick mention.
I actually had a local taking bets and after losing 5 weeks in a row and paying everytime I win 324 dollars in one week he wont pay me and says he does not have it now if thats not luck I have obviously no action to take on him, so continued success

I must have quit 15 times before I finally made the ultimate decision to STOP.

To date I have never done anything tougher in my life.

I ask you to try as absolutely hard as you can ..Be it drugs..gambling ....food...alcohol or anything in our lives that becomes an out of control abuse it takes all we have to overcome the demon.

The ultimate reward outweighs any and all self gratification at the time..

Positive waves your way..

Please..please..try try..try..

In a trillion words I could never explain the fullfilment that comes with defeating that life demon that sucks the very life out of us.

A great read and a greater story. It takes quite a man to beat that and be able to share about it. My hat's off to you, sir.

I also can learn from you,Zig & the poor person who is still struggling. That's how it works. Hope you enjoyed your day & the many that will come.
