Perhaps a reversal of fortune is in the horizon?
SAN JOSE -.5 (-125)
I can't see Buffalo winning 4 in a row. They beat the Wild 1-0 last game, the Wild being a team that was not really playing well for starters. The Sharks lost against LA in OT in which they got a 2 man disadvantage in the overtime. They were not very happy about that. They will be hungry for victory. The "Buffalo" will fall in the sea and the "Sharks" will eat it alive!!!
LOS ANGELES (+125)
Los Angeles, despite playing good team hockey have not been rewarded with any victories of late, except for the OT win in San Jose. With Allison in the lineup now for the last few games, they will start getting in their mode again. Edmonton won an 8-5 shootout vs CBJ, a team that was tired. Winners of 3/4 since Comrie's injury, their luck will run out tonight.
ANAHEIM-OTTAWA OVER 5 (-125)
And the surprise pick...
MONTREAL +.5 (+155)
Some will say that the Flyers will be fired up after their humiliating home loss to the Thrashers. I think that a loss against the Thrashers is demoralizing and doesn't bring out the best in you. When a team loses to Atlanta, how do they perform in their following game? I haven't looked at it but by memory, it must be a losing record. Montreal will most probably have Hackett in nets tonight, a guy who has lost 4 straight. He has given up 3 goals in each of these losses but it came at times when the Habs where not playing very well; he was solid all around. Habs also recalled Czerkawski, the AHL player of the week. Will he show for something now that he has a chance to prove what kind of player he is? I like my chances on this one.
All the best for all of your action tonight!
