Not sure I remember a final week with so many meaningful games. Many are for positioning, two (Balt and Indy/TN ) true playoff games and three must wins (Pitt, Philly, MN). Makes for some interesting betting in a week that is usually a crap shoot. Of course many of the lines reflect this.

I am waiting to see a few more moves before any full plays go in but I did open a 3-team 10 pointer:

Philly +3.5
Ravens +4.5
Open

I like the Philly and Ravens numbers so putting it in now as I think both could rise. I do not think we see the Redskins best effort this week. Cleveland will be a very popular pick this week (winning season, rookie TD record, blah blah blah), but I think the Ravens will win this game. Their defense is simply too strong and I think they will bring Mayfield back to earth. Certainly a dangerous game for the Ravens, but I think they will come to play and take care of business at home.

More to come.

Thinking Rams or Chiefs or even Houston for now. Just do not trust Tampa. They should cover it but I think I am sticking only to meaningful games this week.

Another note.......not sure it means much but Baltimore could of made the playoffs last year with a win at home over the lowly Bengalsin week 17. I am sure that loss with be brought up a few times this week by the Ravens coaching staff and players.

Yeah Maverick, that is one of the reasons why I like the Ravens to win this week. Even though it is a different team, they will look for some redemption this week for last year. This is a huge game for this team and for this organization. If they lose, the Harbaugh extension is not going to go over well with the fans. It is tough to justify to your fans resigning a coach that lost the final game at home two years in a row to go to the playoffs and missed the playoffs 4 years in a row.

Filling the above with Houston, now that I can get it at +3.5, so it is:

Philly +3.5
Ravens +4.5
Houston +3.5

I am also opening a 2-team 7 pointer now as the GB line is moving:

Green Bay -1
Open

I like the Pack at home and really dislike the Lions on the road no matter what the situation. Will definitely fill with the Rams if that line drops to 9.5.

I am finishing GB tease with Indy, so

GB-1
Indy +4

Just do not see TN generating much offense in this one and Colts have all the history.

Some lines are really moving.

Adding

Pitt Ov 45

I see the Steelers putting up 40 in this one by themselves.

Also putting in a totally square ML par for the hell of it, but I really do not see any of these teams losing.

Chiefs
Pats
Steelers
Rams
Packers
Seattle

Only pays about +150

Fucking Packers and Rodgers. I broke my rule of playing a meaningless game and paying for it. Kizer may be the worst QB in the NFL. Oh well, can't win them all, but not happy about this one.

The winning streak ended, but hit the one teaser and should have laid off the Steeler game.

I will take it as the Ravens finally won one that really mattered. They are going to be very dangerous in the playoffs.

How are Viking fans liking Cousins now? I hated that signing and the Vikings and their fans will be hating it for years to come. He can not win games that matter.

Looking forward to the playoffs. Likely going to the Ravens game next week to watch them terrorize Rivers once again.

Should be a good game but Ravens somehow struggled with Browns when it mattered.
