You can be GUARANTEED that the Celtics will get #1 or #2 - the NBA needs a strong franchise in Boston.....

It wouldn't surprise me if Memphis gets 1 or 2, as a favor to Jerry West...

Yes, these were the 2 worst teams by record, but the Celtics don't deserve it, the way they threw games at the end of the year...

Even Pierce, Gomes, and Jefferson admitted they could have been playing, but were sitting out due to the lottery...

Hopefully the basketball gods were watching and give them the lowest pick possible - #5 - and they end up with soft Joakim Noah.. .now that would be funny!

but it won't happen... the NBA will be sure they get #1 or #2 - just like they made sure Ewing went to NY, Duncan to SA, and LeBron to Cleveland.....

It's like playing craps with loaded dice... the house (NBA) always wins.... the NBA seems to be just like the WWF - all fake.....

the last two picks conveniently went to the two smallest markets. As for the frozen theory i can't see that because the guy was in the room for a good bit and it wasn't like he just came in. How you say nothing is there is crazy. Again watch the envelope he touches and throws down on the Fourth pick and then watch that envelope closely. That can't be a coincident what he was doing.

how is the bay area the smallest market? not even close. much bigger metro than indy or seattle

On the course!
Sponge, we were all planted here at Mad Jacks by the NBA several years ago, just incase this topic ever popped up.

Yes, it is obvious he "avoids" that envelope. To me, it looked like nothing more than what Stern might have considered "mixing the packets".

Basketball market. Indiana is a huge basketball market. I think that is all they talk about in Indiana and of course that silly car race they have there.
