1B umpire in Giants-D'Backs game

sucks balls. He totally blew a call at 1B...how can someone miss such as easy call like he did. The base runner was by 1B by the time the 1st baseman caught the damn ball and the ump still called him out...what a jackass.

he better hope the Giants don't get another base hit this inning...it will surely piss off Dusty Baker and Co.

unfortunately you sometimes see those umps that think the crowd is there to see them emphatically ring someone up or make an out call. like some way the applause is for them, guess they get caught up in the excitement(like leslie nielsen in naked gun!!)... i always see a lot more of it in college hoops though, those guys that run halfway up the court indicating a charge really annoy me...

Dback umps have been fixing the game all season. Remember the other game agianst the Giants, where they made two mistakes in one play. Johnson and SChilling aren't the only reasons why the dbacks have such a good record. How the heck did they win the world series last year????????? hhmmmm, a little help from the guys in the black?

Give me a break! I can almost see it......coming off of sept. 11, the umps all got together and said "lets screw new york"

But I agree that was a horrible call. i get the feeling he knew it too! the way he was nodding and the way dusty sat down, I got a feeling he told them, "Yep I made the wrong call, but I can't change it now"
