1st Quarter Lines

[Big Daddy]

Last season I had very good luck playing 1st quarter lines at Olympic. I am going to try it again and see what happens. I generally play 1-5 units. These will all be 2 unit plays for me.

1st qtr plays for Wednesday:

Houston +1'
New Jersey -3
Detroit -3
New Orleans -1
Lakers +2'

No, I hadn't seen his thread. Just went and looked. Some very valid points there. Thanks for pointing it out. However, I am staying with my pick on Washington (note these are very small plays until I see a few more games and get a better feel for the teams). Main reason is the emotional edge I believe Washinton will have with this being their home opener, along with the fact that Boston did not play well last night in their home opener against a very young Bulls team. Boston has a few problems to work out, and I think it will take a few games to do it. With neither team looking that good so far, I am taking the home team at a pick. Just my thoughts. Good luck.

Not a good start, but going to keep plugging away. It may take awhile to get a handle on some of these teams.

Until we know how team chemistry is and which teams come out of the gates with a bang and which teams start slow this season I think better to wait on the first quarter bets.

NJ usually starts off strong.

Been thinking that too. If things don't turn around soon, I'll have to take a little break. Probably going to give it another week and see.
