Stole some time to cap some games. I am coming back Thursday night, so I will update my record with the results from the below games on my Friday post.
Update from last time: Went 4-2 in post season tournaments... had a big profit as Baylor and TAMU had easy covers in the Big 12 tourney with my biggest wagers, which was nice...
NIT-
Penn St. -0 (Rut.), +103, 50-51.50
---- I cant find the slash button on this computer.
Anyhow, I know little about these NIT teams, but have seen both of these teams play a couple times. PSU can play at home, as all Big 10 schools can, and they strike me as a team that will be very excited to be playing at this point (which is key in the NIT year in and year out). I think they can get it done.
Minnesota -3 (WF), -110, 55-50
---- Same reasoning as above. The Gophs can really play at home, and it is always interesting when they play against a team that has players that havent played inside of the quirky Barn.
I think Grier gets his numbers, and ends Wakes disapointing season.
Colorado -6 (OD), -104, 104-100
---- Is there a better capping strategy than playing CU at home and fading them on the road? Nope.
OD lungues will be burning while trying to keep up with Roby, who should come out gunning. :sadwave:
Thursday NCAA Tourney
Only have time to write up a couple of these, because the place I am at is eating away at any profits that I may enjoy betting these games with their 20 pesos per 15 minutes Nazi rules :mj07:
Texas A&M PK (Syr.), -101, 202-200
--- This one wont be an upset, and will be my largest first round wager. I tabbed TAMU as a sleeper team that could go a long way in the tournament a few weeks ago, and their draw has me believing that a lot more.
They are very balanced and Jones is an absolute hoss. McNamaras run is over. This team might be running on fumes, and their run is over.
Wisc-Mil +2 (Okl.), +101, 150-151.50
---- Oklahoma disapointed me to end the season, and it is easy to see why. They have no guard play. Now, apparently, they also have a distraction from the sideline.
This is a recipe for disaster.
If UWM jumps out to a lead, this one is over. Oklahoma will try to grind them into a pulp, but with no point guard, it is going to be difficult when UWM decides to ratchet up the pressure.
No write ups, sorry.. all small plays:
S. Alabama +8 (Fla.) 50-50, +100
Xavier +5.5 (Gon) 50-50, +100
Alabama +2 (Mar.) 53.50-50, -107
Indiana -2.5 (SDSU) 54-50, -108
Winthrop +7 (Ten.) 52.50-50, -105
GL guys! Any information you guys have on any mathups to look into would be appreciated... some of these teams I havent seen much of, and I will be as big of an action junky :scared as I can this weekend (I love this week!). :SIB
