heres what i know, Romar's team is very very focused, losing in first rd. to UAB by 2 still hurts, esp. after UAB beat KY. in next game ... UW is healthy and players say they feel refreshed and honored to be #1 seed ...

Mont. backed out of game at UW this year and players are keeping that to themselves, they played spu (local D2) instead but were annoyed MONT woosed out of game ...

HC for MONT is Kyrsto, UM grad, nba player, in first year (i think) FWIW: i played pickup with him b4 and he was super passive didnt even care if he won, which surprised me b/c it was pretty competitive game and he was still in college and his college roomie was kicking his ass ... the guys i played with that day all commented on him being soft

one thing the UW isnt is SOFT, Im beginning to like the FH # -10 ...

Kid i knows goes to mont st and they beat Mont. twice this year and he claims BIG SKY was terrible-(port st won reg season crown too) ... for me, I have no idea about how strong the league was, this is a 20 y-o speaikng who knows sports.

If i think of anything else I will post ...

Hey gregg-
you know the only guy softer then the coach at MONTANA now? Pat Kennedy the douche bag there before- Montana here IMO by default- They caught Weber State trying to win b2b2b on visitor's court and they just petered out- Montana allows almost 60 shots per game- Lets teams shoot 35% from outside the arc and turns the ball over 18+ times a game- You want to see a game get ugly- This is it. I feel UDUB spanks them from word go- I am talking 50-22 halftime score and 97-55 final score-

Washington is as athletic of a team as there is in this thing and I tell you now- If you sneak on the huskies you will lose- They beat OU, Bama, Utah all on neutral courts- Arizona twice- This team is good- and they are only getting better with the two MCDONLADS AA kids next year-

Like the first half and the game- IMO Montana will be lucky to break 60.

hey musca, good info, thanx ...

yeah the 2 HS kids ive seen many times... Jon Brockman was named 4a player of year and Duke thought they had him--SUPER KID; ironically Ken Bone, UW top ass. coach, his older bro coached Brockman at snohomish, I love this kid! 6'7, rugged and all team!

the other one, Martell Webster, is best off. player maybe ever in state history, they beat us twice in nailbiters but didnt make state b/c Webster doesnt make his teammates better and ultimately they imploded losing twice to teams that went 0-4 in state; that said martell might go NBA anyway, Romar will have hands fuill with him anyway... nice enuff kid but got away with murder this year ...

I think UW runs MONT out early too, maybe even a first 10 min. bet which i never do

take care
gregg

(ps: anyone cares, I posted rant on Stephen a. smith and kobe/ai theme etc in nba forum)
