Among Libtards!!
wednesday: 1-2 (-1.2 units)
ytd: 145-141-4 (-9.1 units)

this season has not been one of my better ones, but hopefully I can finish off strong in the tournament....we'll see.

One Unit each*.......local lines

Holy Cross +11 (Holy Cross is 26-4, with a good coach, Ralph Willard who is in his 4th year. Willard stresses defense and Holy Cross listens as they are 6th in the nation in scoring defense, holding opponents to 58 ppg., while allowing only ~40% from the field and ~33% from three point range. Holy Cross has played two major programs this year, losing at Kansas 81-57 and beating Boston College 71-70 at a neutral site. They are making their 3rd straight trip to the dance, having lost to Kentucky 72-68 as a 15-seed in 2001....and then following that effort up with a loss to Kansas 70-59 as a 16-seed last year. This team has the tournament experience....I'm willing to back a team that has shown it is capable of rising to the occassion of playing on the big stage the last 2 years...couple that with the fact they play good defense, and I'll bite on the points.)

Oklahoma -26 (Defense...Defense....Defense!!! SC State has played 3 major programs...none of the caliber of the Sooners. They lost at Auburn 85-65....lost at South Carolina 82-65....and lost at Wake Forest 100-57. SC State has a problem holding onto the basketball, having turned it over in their conference semifinal WIN 27 times, 17 in the second half -vs- what must be a great Bethune-Cookman squad. SC State averages 19 TO's per game....I'm willing to take a shot against a 20-10 team from a weak conference. I think Oklahoma can cover this by half...and even a let-down Oklahoma team in the second half should be more than SC State can handle. Another fact I'm looking at is the total being set at 133....I think vegas is thinking SC State won't be able to get 50 points today....how about 84-49)

good luck to all today in whatever you play!!!

W. Kentucky +10 (decent team....have had a tough time in the tourney the last couple of years as a team people thought could do some damage.....no pressure this year, I'll take the points.)

UW-Milwaukee +5 (I've seen these guys play and they are a talented bunch....hoping public doesn't know much about these guys and the line is shaded a little towards the always popular ND.)

Arizona St. +4 (I think they match-up well with Memphis...I'll take the points.)

C. Michigan +6 (Line moves towards Creighton...I'll go the other way and ride along with hellah on this cash cow.)

Weber St. +7 (this team is hot right now....have had some success in the tournament before, and I'm on the points here as well.)

Tulsa +3 (a 13-seed only getting 3 points....seems short to me, I'll take the golden hurricanes.)

wow, all dogs tonight....after this mornings dogs covering all but one game, I don't know if that is a good or bad thing? Time will tell...good luck to all!! :D
