Fairfield......
1. Already has a double digit W over Marist
2. Will dominate the boards
3. Much better from the charity stripe....73% to 64%
4. Much better D.....holds opposition to under 40% vs Marist 47%
5. Have early wins over GW, St Johns and Pepperdine....Big losses to Mich and Duke.........Thats a much tougher schedule that Marist...........
6. Comps.....St Pete...similar results but Ffld had that game by 8 with a minute or so left.

Ellerbee can shoot and drills the 3s at 42% but Fairfield has the better shooting team overall

I like Timmy O'Toole's boys to get a good road Win/cover tonight.

Siena........will get off 10 more shots than Loyola tonight and if Loyola only hits 33% of its 25 or so 3s they wont cover. Loyola only takes about 50 shots a game and almost half are 3s.

Both teams stink from the free throw line but Siena should control the boards and their shooting % will improve vs a poor Loyola D that allows opp 47%

Comps....Duquesne ....Siena 78-68 as Pick em, Loyola 61-70 at +18
Siena stats come against Prov, Manhattan,Syracuse, Niagra...thugher schedule than Loyola to date

I like Siena here.....history has Loyola covering on the road .....NOT at home...........Well see

Bear, where have you been? I was going to put out a Bear hunt sign.
Glad your on the Stags too.I was going to the game at marist but my school is playing tonite. We are on a 6 game losing streak at my HS and our coach has called in the Box for some help.I always feel he is looking over his shoulder when I enter the gym.And I don't want that.I support him all the time.
But tonite he will throw a box on the other schools top player. The school were playing is where my kids go.and tomr nite my daughter goes against my school.
My daughter who is 5'11 and just turned 15 is 5-55 from the field.I need to work on her touch. She is a bricklayer. But like Gai a big time shot blocker.
Gotta run
Hows my boy Timmy doing? Has everytrhing quieted down

Hey Box.........

Hey Box.........

Nice to see you on Ffld and siena tonight. I liked Iona in this one but was a little reluctant after the second half at Niagra.....which I really enjoyed cuz I had Niagra..........but as always you are right on the money with this Iona team and I'm going to tail you on this one ...they are the better team and the road W would not surprise. Good luck to us!!
Hey Box...........you crack me up! whats this with "Little Box" at 9% from the field.....:D ........thats about what I'd be shooting these days if my knees worked at all. Looks like you have a little split allegience going on there....Thats either a can't Win or can't Lose situation....Hope your team gets the W tonight and feels the inspiration when they see the ol 'Box" walk int the gym.

All quiet here ......regarding Timmy's problems...hopefully it will get its due and disappear like a bad dream.

Bear, nice job on Siena.I just watched some of the marist game vs fairfield game on tape delay.Magarity played zone and Fairfield couldn't penetrate it.No outside shooters.Marist did a nice job on defense.
Everyone should play zone vs the Stags.Offense was really bad.
Iona won big.
My HS was up by 7 at the half. They used the box almost an entire quarter and held the top player to 6 pts.
But our coaches head swelled in the lockerroom and they came out flat.We scored 14 total pts in the 2nd half. And they never used the "box".We lost by 17 pts. When will these coaches learn.
Good hearing from you again,Bear.I missed you....
