So far this weekends results:
Carolina Panthers +2.5 $220/$200 - W
KC Chiefs +4 $330/$300 - W
Arizona Cardinals +7 $220/$200 - L

I tried to find reasons to not like the Pats in this game. Home dog. Opening new stadium. Maybe they will be distracted. But they only imporved. Brady has a year under his belt. They dumped an unproductive TE core for a Cleeland/Graham/Faruia package. The defense has improved even with the loss of Ted Johnson. Bellichek one could assume will bring the same anal retentive attention to gameplanning and detail that he brought last year.

On the other side of the ball, Pittsburgh promises to be very tough. Make no mistake, this team is still the favorite of many to make or win the Superbowl. Bettis has slimmed down, Randel El sparks the special teams and Kordell, well, hes the X factor. The Pats will throw some wild packages at him tonight in an attempt to rattle him, forcing Kordell to pick apart the Cover 2.

Either way I see this as a close game which will probably again be decided by defense or special teams.

I think buying the hook is a very good move
An expected close game, should be decided by a field goal.
I'm waiting if the line moves to NE +3.5 (fat chance....)
Otherwise, I'll buy the hook as well.......

Yeah I bought it now only because I think it is going to take a TON of money to move this line off of +3.

I like the play ace.

Long time pats fan (grew up in Maine on Grogan and Morgan, Hannah, Mosi, Tippet, Lippett). My soccer number in high school was 72 because of Hannah if you can believe that. I cracked up when I saw "Pats 'R Schweet".

Anyway, just cause I'm a fan doesn't mean I bet on them, but I did this week. I think they're a great play SU.

Belichek has Kordell's number. I don't see the Pitt offense doing much, though a healthy Bettis is one of the most dangerous things in football.

I'll have an eye on the Pats Oline, but I think they could be very good. might have probs at LG with Klemm, but a good center and LT on either side of him. And if they have Andruzzi on the bench, then they must be seeing something in Klemm, because I think they could make switches to get him in.

Troy Brown probably won't be as good as last year, but Hayes was a great pick up. Brady isn't great, but he wasn't great last year and Beli knows how to use him. I feel very good about a play on the pats tonight.
