Quickly about Buf.
Many of you are probably thinking why the Sabres? Sure they are last in the East with 9pts. but the Leafs only have 12 pts. and that is with 1 more game played than the Sabres.
You can count on alot of Leafs fans at the game in Buf. tonight.
After watching the Sabres 2 nights ago they were booed off the ice. Sabres fans are very knowledgable but when it comes to effort they know an honest one from a half hearted effort. Their fans let them know it in a big way and you can count on Lindy Ruff having his boys ready tonight. Sabres should come out with more passion tonight and give an honest effort in front of one of their larger crowds of the season. Heaven knows they could win a few fans over as they have struggled at the gate. What better way to get people to believe in your product when you have your largerst crowd of the season. The players should feed off their energy. Sabres notoriously give the Leafs problems. Should be a tight affair but the Sabres should prevail.

Dallas Stars are back at the top of the Western Conf. where they had been for 4 years until they had a terrible year last year and missed the playoffs.
Their defense is underrated. They got solid goaltending. They can roll 4 lines as good as anyone in the league.
On the other hand I have watched the Avs and they are a team with so much skill yet are having a hard time finding themselves. Blake is still out on D. and it is going to be hard for them to have someone try to replace his minutes.
Stars are ready to make a statement this year that they are back and tonight will be no different as they use their speed and talent to neutralize the Avs. The Stars are a very well coached team under first year man Tippett.

I am not going to add any other plays. Sticking with Buf. and Dal.

In total agreement with the Sabres, HORNS. The Leafs have only 1 win in Buf since the early 90's. Biron will be back in net. The players are denying it, but there's gotta be some look ahead on their part with Cujo and the Wings coming back in town tomorrow. Cujo won't play tomorrow nite, because the Wings don't want any distractions, but Tor players have been bombarded with Cujo this Cujo that all week, it's gotta be irritating the hell out of them.

Plus all these Belfour pics all over the internet of him trashed and getting picked up at a bar by a couple of college kids, going back to their place and partying has got to be a major distraction for Eddie.
